Terrova & PowerDrive Quick Release MKA-16-03
Ideal for fishermen who want to easily remove their Terrova or PowerDrive trolling motors. The MKA-16-03 aluminum quick-release mount allows you to slide the motor in from the side and securely attach it to the base using a side screw. You can also attach a padlock (not included) to this mount to prevent motor theft. Please note: The only negative to this bracket is that it's a bit of a "toe-nail eater" due to the metal flanges that are left on deck after you remove the motor. If you have family days with the motor removed and with wives and kids on board in flip-flops or barefoot, then we strongly suggest purchasing theĀ MKA-21 or RTA-17, which are a little more foot-friendly!

Operational Notes:
This quick release allows for easy, tool-free removal of the trolling motor from the deck. The motor slides into the docking plate and is secured with an included set screw. The quick release plate also has a padlock slot to prevent motor theft.
Installation Notes:
The top portion of the bracket bolts directly to the trolling motor. The bottom plate bolts directly to the deck of the boat. Drilling is required, and it's ideal if you have access to the underside of the bow mounting surface. If not, it's possible to use no access bolting nuts to secure the quick release bracket.
